Sitges Gay Bars

The beachside town of Sitges has a thriving gay scene which can get seriously crowded during the peak of summer. It’s a small town and all the venues are within walking distance of each other, six of the ten bars are on the same street!

There’s something for every gay man in Sitges, from local hangouts to cruise bars, bears, drag, karaoke, and go-go shows. Happy hours are standard and vary from venue to venue.

Most of the bars have outdoor terraces and for those visiting the bars on the gay strip, people-watching is the thing to do.

Most Sitges gay bars get busy around 5 pm as people head there from the beach on the way back to their hotels. The next peak is around 8.30 pm after dinner.

Carrer de Joan Tarrida is known as the gay strip and almost every bar is either on that street or a few minutes walk away. You could bar-hop all 10 venues in one night, but why not pace yourself?

The most popular local drink in Sitges gay bars is the white wine or Cava from Penedes.
