Ibiza Gay Bars

JJ Bar was the first gay bar in Ibiza and is located almost at the end of the gay strip Carrer de la Mare de Déu. As such it has a sun terrace offering sea views. Start your night off with a cocktail as you witness an epic sunset. Be sure to get Juan to make your drink, he’s been there for over 25 years and his signature Mojitos are awesome.

There aren’t any scheduled events at JJ Bar, it’s your typical good time hang out bar, make some new friends or if you’re feeling brave, visit the darkroom area.

JJ Bar is open daily during the summer season from 10 pm to 4 am.

The terrace at Bar Monalisa is well-known as a gathering spot for dancers, models, gourmets, celebrities, and tourists. This bar is the place to see and be seen before you head out to party. Bar Monalisa is on Carrer d’Alfons XII, 100 m from the gay strip of Carrer de la Mare de Déu. It’s a few doors down from Iconic Lola’s club, so it’s perfect if you’re heading there after midnight.

Bar Monalisa doesn’t have any scheduled events, it’s the place to go to get your early buzz on. It’s open daily during the summer season from 9.30 pm until 4 am.

Angelo’s is a restaurant and gay bar on Carrer de Cipriano Garijo 200 m from the gay strip of Carrer de la Mare de Déu. The venue has a range of events including bar games, live music, live performances, and sports. Weather permitting, enjoy a meal on the rooftop terrace.

Angelo’s is open daily during the summer season from 10 am until 4 am, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Happy hours are every night from 10 pm until midnight and Thursday is Reggaeton.

El Cavallet is the official nude beach of Ibiza, a 20-minute drive from the main town. Chiringay is a gay beach club on the beach. It’s open from 10 am to get ready to start your day with a breakfast mimosa while watching the passing parade of handsome naked guys. Lunch kicks off at 1.30 pm and the kitchen remains open until 8 pm. You could spend an entire day here, and why wouldn’t you?

Dado Bar is open nightly during the summer season from 9 pm until 3.30 am. There aren’t any scheduled events, but cocktails are €6 for the first 30 minutes after opening.

In the center of the gay strip on Carrer de la Mare de Déu is Sunrise Ibiza, it has a large outdoor terrace and is well-known as the place to get your buzz before heading out to party. Hunky waiters serve up specialty cocktails. Talk nicely to them and they may just slip you free or discounted passes to some of the legendary island clubs.

Sunrise Ibiza is one of the few bars that’s open during the winter months on Fridays and Saturdays. During the summer season, it’s open daily from 10 pm until 3.30 am.

Lady D Ibiza is the first gay bar visitors will come to when walking down the gay strip of Carrer de la Mare de Déu. It has a vibrant and lively feel to it, and the staff are extremely welcoming. It’s recognizable by the iconic British phone booth front doors. The venue has an outdoor terrace.

Lady D Ibiza is only open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 pm until 3.30 am, but the distinction is that it’s open every weekend of the year, including the winter season.

Nini Ibiza Bar is a gay cocktail venue with a large street terrace halfway down the gay strip of Carrer de la Mare de Déu. The staff are extremely welcoming and visitors leave feeling like part of the family, It’s an ideal place to start a busy night of partying.

Weekly events include DJ nights every Saturday and Sunday Funday parties. Nini Ibiz Bar is open every night of the summer season from 9 pm until 3.30 am.
