Start at Silom Soi 4 it’s literally a street full of gay bars, perfect for bar hopping. Then from midnight onto Silom Soi 2 for DJ Station, Bangkok’s biggest club. From 2 am onwards things move onto G Bangkok, just 2 minutes walk from DJ Station.

Even though the street opens at 10 pm, nothing much happens in DJ Station Bangkok until midnight. After that, it quickly becomes crowded, and the night goes wild until it closes at 3 am.

Music: International dance music is king here. There may be the occasional local party tune, but the energy of the music is up there with that of the best clubs in the world.

Crowd: There are so many handsome, shirtless guys here you’ll get whiplash the moment you enter. Chinese gay muscle-boys are often seen here, partying with locals and other nationalities.

Drinks: Silom Soi 2 prices are slightly higher than the ones in Silom Soi 4. Expect to pay around 120 Thai Baht ($3.30) for a local beer.

Dress: Show off your body! That’s how many people dress to go to DJ Station. There are no hard or fast rules except that closed shoes must be worn (no flip-flops).

Circuit Party Heaven

G Bangkok isn’t technically in Silom Soi 2; it’s in Soi 2/1, so it’s adjacent, but it deserves a mention. Originally named G.O.D. (Guys On Display), it’s now known as G Bangkok. It’s another nightclub, equally as popular as DJ Station, and a great alternative to mix up your clubs. Plus, it’s open until 5.30 am, a few hours longer than Silom Soi 4 and Silom Soi 2 bars.

The club has three levels. Most of the dancing happens on the main floor, but venture up to the second floor, where the cruising happens.

G Bangkok is always on the circuit party list. Whether you’re here for New Year, Songkran, or Pride month, you’ll have a ticket for this venue.

Music: The best beats from around the world. These DJs know how to keep you on the dancefloor.

Crowd: Everyone who loves to dance! It gets shirtless and sweaty late into the night, so why not join in the fun?

Drinks: Expect to pay from 150 Thai Baht ($4.20) and up for a drink here.

Dress: Nobody cares what you wear here, as the night wears on shirts become optional, the only rule is that no open-toed shoes are allowed.

Local Gay Dance Madness

Fake Club Bangkok is located on Ratchadaphisek 4 Soi 1 Bangkok is a heaven for those who are attracted to Asian guys, however, you may struggle to find a matching Potato Queen here. It’s located near the famous Chatuchak (JJ) Weekend Market. The area has rapidly become a hip gay area of Bangkok, for local students and professionals to hang out. Fake Club The Next Gen attracting mostly Asian crowd, it’s a gay dance club with live DJ for locals who dislike DJ Station.

Next door to Fake Club Bangkok is Fake Cafe, the original club before it expanded sideways. Fake Cafe offers a more relaxed, quieter bar and restaurant environment.

Fake Club Bangkok – Popular Thai Men Gay Dance Club
Music: Fake Club The Next Gen Ratchada Soi 4 Bangkok, plays all the freshest Divas from Lady Ga Ga to Britney as well as many Thai and K-Pop bands. Between 11 pm and midnight, the bar hosts live music which has become popular with a small straight crowd as well. After midnight the DJ plays and the dancing starts.

Crowd: The club is packed at weekends with a young, highly fashionable crowd of local Bangkokers. They come with their K-pop-inspired outfits and their choreographed routines to “slut drop” the night away. With Fake Club Bangkok’s local orientation, be prepared for much of the crowd not to speak English.

Drinks: The drink prices are reasonable here with beers starting at 120 THB ($4 USD), cocktails at 130 THB ($4 USD), while a bottle of whiskey costs between 990-1,690 THB ($30-50 USD).

Dress: Fake Club has no official dress code however with the highly fashionable local crowd it’s advisable to make an effort unless want to go home alone.
